Boehringer ingelheim wanted to produce this video testimonial to showcase the relationship as well as what is possible when you have healthy animals.
They have been working with the Hurley family for over two decades and have been treating their flock of around 20 000 sheep with their innovative product BIONIC.
Hot Mustard Communications asked CAW to come along and produce the video for their video testimonial. The video testimonial was one part of it but the innovation from Sam and Sophie Hurley was the main focus. We spent 3 days on their farm filming their farming operation as well as their luxury luggage range, Honest Wolf. They use the wool from their farm to create beautiful woollen luxury luggage, which they sell online and in retail stores. It was easy to capture beautiful footage as we had the likes of Mount Ruapehu as our backdrop. The biggest challenge was getting close enough to the sheep while filming some of the shots. The Shepards and their Hunterway dogs tried their best to help with this but it proved challenging. We were having to film with long video lenses to capture a good portion of the shots. Once we had finished up with the action shots, we were able to stage things from then on. We got some great shots of Sam looking through a wool bale as well as Sophie wrapping and packing some of their Honest Wolf products.
The highlight for me was getting to experience such a beautiful view from what felt like the highest point in New Zealand. Being a video producer, we get to visit some of the most amazing locations across the country and get to learn so much about all types of industries. We get to go to place people would never normally get to go and this makes our line of work amazing. Contact us if you would like our passionate team to help you.
