We were referred to Thandanani by Dlalanathi, a client that we had produced a social media video campaign for at the beginning of 2016. Thandanani asked us to go out in the field with their social workers for two days, to get an understanding of how their non-profit organisation works. On the first day, we were introduced to four families and got to hear about their life story and their daily struggles. This was a real eye-opener for us and we were excited to be a part of such a powerful project.
Our goal was to produce a social media campaign on each of their verticals, showcasing how they intervene and help families in need. It was a bit of a challenge as we needed to tell each families story but at the same time, show the business side of the organisation and how they help. These videos were used on social media to market and raise funds for Thandanani.
Overall, it was an amazing experience to work with such a great organisation who are making a huge difference in hundreds of people lives.
