ICLEI African commissioned us to produce two videos, one marketing video and then this video which showcases the corporate success story of their project in Doornkop. We spent two days filming in and around Mpumalanga and Doornkop, listening to the communities stories from the past as well as how having electricity in the communities centre has helped the community come together.
The Urban-LEDS project implemented by UN-Habitat and ICLEI, has the objective of enhancing the transition to low emission urban development in emerging economy countries. This aims to integrate low-carbon strategies into all sectors of urban planning and development within their municipalities.
